Container Loot
Containers in Trailblazers are standard Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit containers as seen on modern day cargo ships. Usually, there are 5 color types and two size classes:
- Red Container (Hazardous/High-Risk/Civilian Explosives)
- Blue Container (Technology/Information)
- Green Container (Biological/Organic)
- Yellow Container (Trade Goods/Resources)
- Black Container (Weapons/Restricted Goods/Experimental)
- White Container (Medical/Emergency Supplies)
To the sizes:
- 20ft., 1 TEU
- 40ft., 2 TEU = 1 FEU (Forty-foot Equivalent Unit)
When rolling for Loot in these tables, roll 3d100 to see what is inside a 1 TEU Container, and roll 5d100 to see what is inside a 1 FEU Container. An item that has been rolled may be discarded from the loot pool, and can be re-entered after some time.
Containers Loaded
Roll here to randomly determine the amount of containers loaded on a ship based on a percentage of its full capacity. () When rolling you can also add 1 to 2 loose items from either Blue, Green or Yellow tables that are stored outside of containers.
| Roll (d20) | 1 | 2-4 | 5-9 | 10-15 | 16-17 | 18-19 | 20 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Percentage | 1% | 10% | 30% | 40% | 50% | 75% | 80% |
To roll for individual containers, roll a d8 and assign in order as below:
| Roll (d8) | 1 | 2 | 3-4 | 5-6 | 7 | 8 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Type | Red | Blue | Green | Yellow | Black | White |
Players may open a total of 5 individual Containers max from a pile. From piles larger than 5, players may ask for specific general goods and the GM may roll a D20 with increasing difficulty based on the player request’s reasonability.
Red Container
Stored in specially sealed containment units to prevent cross-contamination and to adhere to safety standards
