Background
“Chris Miller” is an enigma wrapped in a trench coat. He first appeared in the Kryx Nebula fringe settlements about 20 years ago, speaking a dialect that sounded like radio static before quickly learning common trade languages.
He made a name for himself not as a pilot, but as the galaxy’s most effective Courier. He realized that ships are large, scannable targets. A passenger, however, is just a face in the crowd. He hitchhikes across the galaxy, charming captains, sneaking into cargo holds, or winning passage in card games.
He carries goods that are small but incredibly valuable: data shards, rare gems, assassination contracts, and vials of exotic matter. He hides these items not in pockets, but inside the crystalline structure of his face, which seems to have a molecular storage capacity.
Rumors suggest his face is actually a piece of sentient Pretech he bonded with, or that he is an escapee from a Danube “Site 008” experiment regarding Navigator mutations.
