Zone Breakdown
Z1: The Exterior & Breaches
- Description: Tumbling at 3 revolutions per minute. Silent, stark shadows cast by the system’s distant star. Emily Henry’s frozen corpse drifts on a tether.
- Hazards: Matching the spin with the player’s ship (Pilot check). Moving through the jagged hull tear risks a suit puncture.
- Assets/Loot: Pilot’s suit has a pristine Hohenheim security keycard .
- Mechanics: Failing the Pilot approach check deals 1d6 ship hull damage to the player’s vessel.
- GM Notes: If they cut Emily’s tether, she floats away, but the Androids might use her suit to mask their heat signatures later.
Z2: Deck 1 (Command & Quarters)
- Description: Bathed in emergency red lighting. A cloud of frozen, spherical blood droplets obscures the bridge terminal.
- Hazards: The floating blood makes visibility poor.
- Assets/Loot: The captain’s terminal contains the ship’s Black Box flight data and master passkey.
- Mechanics: Extracting the data takes 10 minutes and a Program check.
- GM Notes: The Black Box reveals the ship was intentionally sabotaged from the inside by Hohenheim corporate espionage, not just an accidental asteroid strike.
Z3: Decks 2 & 3 (The Pancaked Maze)
- Description: 10 meters of ship crushed into a 4-meter vertical space. Horrific echoing acoustics. Metal groans constantly.
- Hazards: The rogue Siyoon-Class Androids hunt here. The ruined sub-light drive leaks radiation.
- Assets/Loot:
- The medbay holds a pristine TL5 cybernetic implant.
- The Armory contains:
- 1 x Graphene Layered Armor, another worn by Grisham
- 2 x Rifle, Gauss
- 4 crates x 20 Magazines of Ammo, Tungesten
- Mechanics: Movement speed is halved here due to the twisted terrain.
- GM Notes: First Mate John Grisham is locked in the armory. He is alive but paranoid and will fire blindly at the door if players try to cut it open.
Z4: Deck 4 (Cargo & Containment)
- Description: Belly of the ship. Heavy lead and copper mesh lines the walls. Shattered stasis glass floats freely.
- Hazards: Once inside, the Faraday cage drops all external comms to zero.
- Assets/Loot: Encrypted Hohenheim Black-Site server rack. Contains:
- Location of 3 Hohenheim Black Sites (Status Unknown):
- DS01 → two jumps east of Cassegrain
- DS02 → one jump from Andersson
- DS03 → three jumps southeast of Toras
- Location of 3 Hohenheim Black Sites (Status Unknown):
- Mechanics: The server requires the master passkey worn by the Captian to unlock the sentience suppression algorithm data and most of the research data on the Hohenheim Androids.
