Planetary Description
Titania is a world of stark contrast. Its surface is an uninhabitable, frozen desert swept by relentless ice storms. Beneath this thick cryo-crust lies a vibrant, life-filled subglacial ocean warmed by geothermal activity. All of Titania’s civilization exists within this ocean, in magnificent cities that are built downwards from the ice ceiling, glowing with biolights and advanced technology. The capital, Arclight, is the largest of these inverted metropolises, a hub of politics, trade, and culture for the entire system.

Typical Encounters
| Encounter | Type | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Nationalist Hardliners | Political | Locals who are openly hostile to anyone with ties to the Cassegrain or Lucido systems, often causing trouble in trade hubs. Some even protest against the Unified Planets as a whole |
| Imperial Remnant Agents | Spies | Covert agents of the Imperial Remnant attempting to bribe shipyard officials or spread anti-government propaganda in port bars. |
| Whiteleaf Faith | Religious | There is a big area dedicated for a Celestian Faith to live out their worship of the local flora, which is a miracle to flourish so much under the thick ice covers. |

Major Conflicts
| Conflict Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Ghosts of the past | A “cold war” of political and economic friction between the Titania Republic and the governments of Cassegrain and Lucido. Characterized by trade disputes and diplomatic insults. |
| Imperial Infiltration | A shadow conflict between Republic Intelligence and the Imperial Remnant. The Remnant seeks to destabilize the planet’s government and seize control of its strategic shipyards. |
Adventure Hooks
- Industrial Espionage: An Imperial Remnant cell has infiltrated the Arclight Shipyards to smuggle weapons and sabotage new UPN vessel prototypes. The party is hired by Republic security to identify the cell and neutralize it quietly.
- Underwater Peril: A rival corporation has sabotaged key mining equipment in the treacherous Titanium Rift. The players must navigate the dangerous depths in a submersible to perform repairs before the entire operation collapses, all while fending off corporate assassins and hostile fauna.
- Diplomatic Escort: Tensions with Lucido have reached a boiling point. The players are tasked with escorting a Titanian diplomat to a neutral station for high-stakes negotiations, protecting them from Imperial Remnant agents who wish to see the talks fail and war break out.
Additional Details
Titania’s prominent shipyards, attached to the Arclight spaceport, construct and service a considerate fraction of the commercial and military vessels in the Albion sector, apart from the Lima Forgeyards. This makes the planet a strategic asset of immense value to both the Titania Republic and the greater Unified Planets of Sol.
