The Eye of Anubis is a brutal enforcer gang operating in the Albion Sector, acting as the muscle for the South Rim Coalition club, “Abutre Renascido”. Operating out of the criminal haven of Markertown in the Teredos System, they are tasked with securing smuggling routes, collecting protection money, and making bloody examples of anyone who crosses the Coalition.
They wear modified biker leathers adorned with gold-plated, faux-Egyptian motifs—jackal masks, pharaonic headdresses, and their signature Kopesh-shaped monoblades. However their looks, they are foul-mouthed, hyper-aggressive jockeys who know absolutely nothing about ancient Earth history, treating their aesthetic merely as a branding tool to inspire terror.

Story
The Urkantone Heist Decades ago, before they had their distinct identity, this crew was just an unnamed pack of thugs. Their fortunes changed when they ambushed an Archivo Urkantone transport ship bound for the Quintara system. Expecting pretech weaponry, they instead found shipping containers full of historically accurate, high-tech replicas of ancient Earth artifacts intended for a massive museum exhibition—including hundreds of monomolecular-edged Kopesh swords and reinforced ceremonial armor. Realizing the gear was highly effective in close-quarters ship boarding, the crew claimed it. They adopted the iconography from the museum’s promotional holovids, rebranding themselves the “Eye of Anubis.”
Markertown Claim When the Abutre Renascido looked to expand their South Rim operations into the prosperous Albion sector, they needed a local foothold. The Eye of Anubis ruthlessly cleared out several rival gangs in Teredos, claiming the derelict habitats of Markertown as their sovereign turf and establishing a secure launchpad for the Coalition’s northern operations.
